Imli is a ground-breaking restaurant on London’s Wardour Street offering small ‘tapas’ style sharing dishes. Our specialty is authentic Indian street food, full of fresh and vibrant flavours. Imli’s ethos is ‘traditional meets modern’. Under the guidance of Tamarind-trained executive chef Samir Sadekar, we offer authentic regional dishes from all over India with an innovative, delicately modern twist.

Those who want to recreate some of Imli’s unique dishes in their own home can take part in one of chef Samir’s monthly master classes, held in the restaurant kitchen, where he reveals some of his prized culinary secrets.

Imli’s restaurant’s design concept fuses the simple elegance of modernity with the richness of Indian tradition. Modern characteristics of bold form, colour, and scale are mixed and layered with traditional Indian elements of craft, pattern, and texture to create an inspiring setting for a unique culinary experience.

The winning blend of high design and warm welcome can also be enjoyed in Imli’s private dining room and events space, accommodating up to 50 people (seated). Room hire is free of charge – a rarity in London’s West End – and party, group dining and canapé menus are available across a range of price points.
