The idea of Indian "Tapas" at Imli on Wardour Street put me off at first but once i had my meal i was relatively surprised as just how good this ended up being. Indian food has its own type of tapas offering known as a "thali" and i think Imli has done a great job at getting the authentic and traditional thali mixed with the concept of tapas. The food was wonderful - the right amount of spices fused with the perfect portions. A real treat.

I ventured along to Imli in Wardour Street the other week for a bite to eat and was not disappointed. The food is fresh and tasty and all at an affordable price.
The staff are friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our meal before heading off to the theatre.
Well worth a visit.
I have been to Imli two days consecutively because of the excellent food, good value for money and incredibly friendly service. I was recommended this restaurant by friends, and was delighted to find it completely lived up to my expectations. Unique tapas idea adds to the uniqueness of this authentic Indian cuisine restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best Indian food I've ever had. Very friendly and efficient staff and everything was good value for money. If you love Indian food this is the place to visit.
I was very impressed and will be certainly going back soon.
I have to say I have fallen in love with the delightful, fun and friendly atmosphere of Imli on Wardour Street. As for the food, what can I say, fresh, imaginative, light and most of all so tasty and they have fresh naans on the menu again including an amazing cheese naan. A surprisingly affordable night out in the heart of Soho, FANTASTIC !
