Life drawing Saturdays at Westland Place Studios provide a relaxed, enjoyable and convenient way for both beginners and more experienced artists to practice and improve their drawing skills under the expert guidance of multi-disciplinary, Westland Place Studios Artist, Jan Goodkin.

Based at Westland Place Studios, Jan has many years experience as a senior lecturer in Art education. With an MA in Art in Architecture, and a further postgraduate diploma in Architectural Stone Carving, Jan is primarily concerned with forms in their spatial context.

Jan has an open-minded and fresh approach to drawing. In this small group, students will receive individual attention. All levels of experience – from beginner to advanced - are welcome. During the day you will be given the opportunity to work with a range of drawing media including: pencil, coloured pastels, coloured paper and charcoal.

These classes are a great way to explore different drawing techniques and to build your portfolio.
