There are two reasons why i come to Bar Italia - the first is because its the only place in London with real atmosphere when any Serie A match football match is playing on the large screens and secondly its the only place in London that does the best late night pizza!

Midnight coffee
This is the sort of place that you stumble upon one night and the next day you wonder whether does it was just a dream? In London we are not spoilt for choice when it comes to late night cafes for that cosmopolitan continental experience. Just opposite Ronnie Scott's where Jazz grooves late into the night, its coffee is fantastically authentic and the vibe vivacious.
Whether you go for a late night coffee for pleasure or to sober up, its a great place to hangout.
It is also open in the daytime and does a good breakfast selection but for me it is a place that comes alive at night...By londoneyes at 16:32 on 01/06/10

Soho institution
Bar Italia is one of those places saddled with the institution tag. Not only that, it also has a Pulp track written in its honour. It's been around a long, long time, serving coffee, paninis and cake round the clock to the multifaceted folk of Soho. The coffee is, of course, superb. The cakes are delicious - get involved with the cheesecakes in particular. Prices are pretty high but it doesn't seem to matter - this is one institution that isn't overrated.

A real Italian gem
A real Italian gem situated in the centre of Soho. Fantastic coffee and also very tasty sandwiches and bowls of pasta. Perfect place to meet a friend for a light lunch.
Bar Italia is always buzzing with locals and has a great atmosphere. Their ice cream is pretty good too...By hollycocker at 12:50 on 13/04/10
