Westminster City Council is continuing the spirit of Silver Sunday with a free cinema outing for the borough's over-60s.

Nearly 1,000 of Westminster's older residents are invited to a pre-release 'Silver Screening' of 'Quartet', a tale of retired opera singers featuring stars Dame Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, and Billy Connolly.

On Thursday 29 November 2012 at 10.00am, the Leicester Square Odeon will open its 925-seat cinema for an exclusive screening of this star-studded Oscar-season blockbuster.

Residents who are 60 and older can visit and enter the special reference number 477024 to claim up to ten free tickets. Alternatively, residents can write to 'Quartet, 17th Floor, City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London SW1E 6QP' and provide their name, address and number of tickets to have their tickets posted to them.

Cllr Christabel Flight, Westminster City Council's Champion for Older People, said: "In 'Quartet', some of Hollywood's finest veterans tell a story befitting of Silver Sunday's tradition of valuing older people and their contributions.

"I hope that Westminster's residents will take advantage of this offer and enjoy a lovely morning at the cinema with their friends."

Book now for a free seat at this pre-release screening of Dustin Hoffman's directorial debut! Residents can also claim tickets for a carer who is under 60.
